Hello everyone! My name is Lindsey Landversicht and am from
a small town called McComb, Ohio which is about 25 minutes south of BG. I am currently a junior. Throughout my life I played
many sports ranging from basketball, volleyball, softball and soccer. While in
high school I played basketball but stopped due to a knee injury and then just
stuck with softball since it was my main passion. In addition to these sports I
helped with stats for the girl’s basketball team and for wrestling as well. My
favorite sports to watch are football, baseball and college basketball. I am an
Ohio State fan, Cleveland Indians fan, and an Indianapolis Colts fan. The
female athlete that I would have liked to see was Jennie Finch. I say her
because I have played softball ever since I was little and she was such a phenomenal
player. She was a great team leader and
was a really good pitcher. The male athlete that I would like to see play is
Peyton Manning. I think Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all
time. I enjoy watching him play football he was a great asset for the Colts
when he played for them. He is a great team leader and is very respectful when
it comes to playing the game. Finally, I don’t believe I will have any concerns
about this class. I am really interested in the topics that we will be
discussing.

ReplyDeleteI am glad you are interested in the topics we will be discussing in class. You may have said this in class, but I wondered what position you played in softball. Since you said you would like to see Jennie Finch, I wondered if you were a pitcher. My niece pitched for Avon Lake and Malone College; she also played for traveling teams in the summer. Since you are a Colts fan, it must have been exciting to have the turnaround season they had this year. I would be excited to have a quarterback like Andrew Luck, even though he will have to mature to become another Peyton Manning.
